If you go down to the park today, you’re sure to get a surprise: A whole host of nannies with their little charges having fun. Finger cut sandwiches (without the crust cut off of course), quiche, freshly squeezed lemonade and cupcakes are the order of the day at a Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
When and where do the Teddy Bears’ Picnics happen?
Typically on Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00 across July and August and we post the dates and details well in advance on our social channels
What to bring?
We don’t charge nannies to attend a picnic but we do ask that you bring your own food and drink. Plus any games you might want to play and don’t forget your picnic blanket!
NB: We don’t advocate food sharing and it goes without saying, if you or your child has a food allergy, please be extra cautious as there will be a lot of food around the gathering.
What about the weather?
Plan A is to be out in the park. But our beautiful English summers can be a little capricious. If the clouds look like they’re moving in we will attempt to find an indoor location. But, if that’s not a goer we may have to cancel or delay.
So please do keep an eye on our social channels (listed below) for location updates and weather reports.
Fancy running your own UK Nanny Teddy Bears’ Picnic?
Is your local park is screaming to host a group of nannies and little ‘uns having a picnic? If yes, do get in touch to see if we can help you pop-up a picnic in your local park.
After an interview, we will share an event plan and jointly put together the social posts for our channels.
