Pocketnannies Guest Post

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to tell us about yourselves. Let's start, shall we?

Pocketnannies is a blog aimed at both parents and nannies alike. Pocketnannies is run by three professional nannies and much like UK nanny we aim to help raise the profile of nannying and show that it is a professional career.  We love the sense of community that The Nanny Lounge has created so quickly.

Thank you. So, how did it all begin? pocketnannies

We are Sarah, Sophie and Siobhan - we are all full time nannies and found ourselves bouncing ideas around between ourselves. We then decided that we could do something with our passion for nannying and so Pocketnannies came about. Fast forward two years and we have published over  330 blog posts.

Wow! That's fantastic. What can you find on Pocketnannies?

We post three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday - our blog posts come under the categories activities, an interview with, books, discussion, experts, people & products, recipes, top tips, guest posts and out & about.

We love to share products and ideas that we find helpful in our lives as nannies, things that help us on a day to day basis, that make your day just that little bit easier. For example we came across Nana's Manners children's cutlery which has helped mealtimes no end.
Sometimes it's great to make those everyday tasks that little bit more fun! Here we have jazzed up bath time, which can be tricky at the end of a long day.
We love sourcing new and engaging books for all ages of children, as we are passionate about reading to our little ones. Some of our favourites are The Koala Who Could and Nature's Day.
We also share a good range of recipes - mostly recipes for healthy children's meals but also the odd treat as well.
We let you know our top tips as nannies for travelling with children and more.

Sounds like you are kept very busy with it, well done to you all! Where else can we find you online?

We share all of our posts via Instagram which is a great place to share our ideas. We've also found there are many nanny blogs and nanny accounts that we love connecting with and you can also find us on Twitter and Facebook.
Great! Looking forward to your next posts.
